I'm Riding For
Bob Schriner

This year's ride will take on a very personal note for me. My sweet brother in law Bob was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) on 2-25-23. It has been a whirlwind ride ever since. Already into his second round of chemo infusions, we are happy to know that, so far he is responding to the medicines! He has a life long battle ahead of him, but he is facing it with an excellent attitude and with courage and bravery. And a smile! We love you Bob!!!
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
Stephanie

Update on Bob Schriner
4 May 2023It is with a very heavy heart the I have to report the "
Bobby lost his battle with AML Leukemia on 51 2023. Bobby had come to live with us (his older brother) on 4-27-23. Just that night after getting settled in and eating a hearty meal, he started complaining of strong pain. Hospice came in the very next morning and supplies and meds for end of life were ordered. He was able to visit on Sunday with all of his family. Then in the very early morning hours of Monday, he passed quietly away surrounded by his brothers and sister. Rest in peace and suffer no more my sweet gentle hero!
