This September, I am taking part once again in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my third year riding in support of finding cures for kids' cancers.

I hadn't planned on participating this year because of the challenges I face raising money. Meeting my riding goal is easy, raising money not so easy. However, after watching Michael Strahan (Football Hall of Famer and host of GMA) tell the story of his college-age daughter being recently diagnosed with cancer, I decided to participate again this year.

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. That is why I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to help them continue their work developing lifesaving treatments and finding cures for childhood cancers.
