Nancy Jean

My mother lost her oldest daughter, Nancy Jean to leukemia at the age of 3. It was exactly one month from the time Nancy was diagnosed to the day she was buried. She bravely endured an intense month-long battle only to have her heart give way as she entered remission. This is one of the reasons why we still need better treatments, designed for children, that ensure they can live to their fullest potential.

My Story

This is my 5th year riding in The Great Cycle Challenge for The Children's Cancer Research Fund and my goal is to reach a lifetime fundraising milestone of $15,000 by raising $1,500 this year.

I ride in memory of my sister Nancy Jean and in honor of my mother to advance cancer research so that today's children, future generations, and their parents can enjoy the magic of childhood instead of fighting for their lives.

Thank you for all of your support this year and the prior four. Together, we are making an impact.
