I'm Riding For
In memory of my Father-in-law Dr. Leonard Dress
I am riding this year in memory of my wonderful father-in-law. He was a great man who really cared for his family. He was a devoted father to his two sons and a wonderful husband and touched a lot of people through the years. He was a great doctor who worked as an obstetrician at Winchester Hospital, and he loved his profession. In 2021, my father-in-law was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 78. He gave his all in this battle, but sadly we lost him to cancer. I will always remember him as a true warrior, and for this reason, I will ride for him.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help children with cancer. My goal is to support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
