My Story
This will be my 2nd year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge. Last year I road around 90 miles in September, this year I'm aiming for 125 miles.
I used to ride my bicycle a lot, maybe 4 hours at a time, a few times a week. Then it got to where I hardy had time to ride. Last year I wanted to get back in shape to do some longer rides, and I saw this fundraiser. I'm the kind of person who needs goals, so I started riding this short loop near my home, trying to get in shape to ride around Cades Cove up in the Smoky Mountains.
I thought this to be a really worthy cause and it gave me some motivation, so this September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge again to fight kids' cancer!
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change lives.
Thank you.
