I'm Riding For
Isabella Auer
Ella, known as the Girl with the Golden Heart, a fellow student and dear friend, died of DIPG at the age of 17 in April 2020. May God rest her soul. 💛 Me and fellow students are riding in memory of Isabella this September.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Children should be living their lives, not fighting for it. I am taking part in this challenge to give them hope and to reassure them that they are not alone in their struggle.
I am riding in memory of a fellow student and dear friend, Isabella Auer, who bravely battled DIPG, an untreatable brain cancer, for a year and passed at the young age of seventeen. She was a very sweet friend and had a brave soul. Her love, courage, strength, trust in God, and acceptance of trials will remain unforgotten. I pray that she has the joy of seeing God face-to-face and of meeting her greatest heroes - the saints. Among her friends, she is known as the Girl with the Golden Heart.💛
This year, I ride 100 miles for Ella and for all other lives lost to cancer, in hopes that one day, children won't have to fight where they should be living. There was no cure for the kind of cancer Isabella had - my hope is that a treatment will be found for all those cancers for which there is no remedy.
I humbly ask that you please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they dream of.
Your support could change so many little lives and their families! Thank you so much!
God Bless you!
Isabel
