Haylee Werth

Haylee Werth was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just 5 years old on October 19th, 2020. After enduring a tough 26 month battle including bone marrow biopsies, chemotherapy, blood transfusions, lumbar punctures, multiple emergency room visits, and numerous other tests and blood work, we are proud to say she is in remission and living her best life as a healthy second grader. She continues to be monitored with monthly blood work which will slowly taper back until she reaches her five year mark where she will go on to "survivorship clinic". While many childhood cancer survivors face complications into adulthood such as secondary cancers, infertility, heart damage, osteoporosis and more, our hope and prayer is that she will remain cancer free forever and live a long healthy life! We look forward to a world where there are better treatment options for our children so that those who do survive can truly thrive!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
